For the second consecutive year, Bankside Gallery and Art Academy London have collaborated to bring together an exclusive display of artworks produced by both Year 10 students at Haberdasher's Borough Academy and attendees of Blackfriars Settlement Positive Ageing. The two groups took part in workshops at Art Academy London led by multi-disciplinary artist Alice Perse Clarke. This year, the theme is "Hybrid Identity", inviting the artists to explore the many facets of each of our identities. With Alice's guidance, they each created their own personal responses to this theme, giving life to incredible artworks ranging across different types of media.

We're thrilled and proud to participate in this cross-generational project, actively collaborating with the local community here in Southwark.

We unveiled the display at a Private View on 25 January where we were joined by the artists and their families. Take a look at some of the photos from this exciting night:

We're looking forward to working with Art Academy London and their students again in the future.
