The Heatherley School of Fine Art £65 / 60 Friends & Students 10am - 4pm

Reportage artists draw life as it unfolds before them whilst drawing at speed.

For this workshop we will be reportage artists and look at the local neighbourhood, the people who populate the streets, cafes, and public areas.  What are they doing? Are they passing through, meeting friends, shopping, going to work or making repairs to roads?

By the end of the workshop a composition based on studies produced on location will be produced.  This may be a drawing with watercolour, wash, inks or with your chosen water-based medium.  Collage may be used and eavesdropping may also come into play!
