The workshop will begin with a number of life drawing exercises followed by work developing abstracted pieces using acrylic paint and collage. You will look at how figurative studies can inform abstracted ideas with a particular focus on colour, form and texture.
The purpose of the workshop is to examine the choices that are part of the painting process so come armed with alternatives, inspiration and curiosity. The aim is to free up your work and have fun with materials!
