Take a journey to the local landscapes and the distant destinations that inspire the artists of the Royal Watercolour Society. Venturing outside the studio and working in unfamiliar territories can provide ongoing source material which feeds back into 'finished' artworks and sketchbooks long afterwards. RWS artists interpret their environment in different ways ranging from directly observed paintings, to abstract renderings of their remembered emotions.
