James McCreary was born in Dublin in 1944. In 1973 he joined the Graphic Studio
Dublin Studio to study etching and lithography. In 2004 James left his position as
studio manager there in order to concentrate solely on making his own work.
James is a member of Aosdána, an affiliation of creative artists in Ireland.
