Frans Wesselman RE

Biography

Frans grew up and trained in the Netherlands. People are central to his work, which is also based on the close observation of the natural world. His paintings, etchings and stained glass often tell a story.

Graphic art provides Frans the perfect vehicle to express the visual wonder of the world by exploiting the power of line, tone and texture through the qualities unique to printmaking. He also prefers making multiples available to a wider public than would be possible if his skill were concentrated on producing single works.
