Born in 1973 in Yorkshire, Neil Pittaway's highly detailed and often chaotic etchings and watercolours fondly hark back to an earlier age of industrial and commercial development. Emblems and icons from the past are dropped into the present day to open up discussion on cultural and political attitudes. A graduate of the Royal Academy Schools, Pittaway has exhibited widely with exhibitions including the National Print Exhibition in London and the British Council Gallery, New Delhi
