Greg Becker ARWS
Biography
Greg Becker studied Art Foundation in his hometown of Nuneaton, a BA in Graphic Design (1977-80) at Leeds University, and an MA in Illustration (1980-83) at the Royal College of Art.
After a long career as a professional illustrator, Greg gradually developed his own personal work and is now a full-time artist.
He paints quiet scenes with an echo of a tranquil lost world in which ideally there is a suggestion of secrets yet to unfold. His images are referenced from plein air drawings made on regular walks in the South Downs in West Sussex, or parks near to his home in South London.
