Often inspired by visits to Venice or table top still lifes in her own London kitchen, Cheese is drawn to exploring her home and surroundings through her work. Drawing is also fundamental to Cheese's practice and her outdoor works begin in her sketchbooks, where she can observe city environments and the people who inhabit them.
