My practice is representational and symbolic. In my working process, drawing and printmaking allow me to reconstruct reality not only by observing it, but also by playing with it, creating narrative images through metaphors.
I have been developing images which represent the wilder side. The topics I depict are based on the body and death, sexuality and different social problematic, such as gender, disengagement from nature and the increase of human individualism.
Psychology and folk tales are important references in my work. Being part of our early education, the stereotypes of the old tales remain in our subconscious affecting our behaviour nowadays.
